Alan Dale Meek , 70, passed away on Friday, August 7th, 2015 in Virginia Beach. Born on September 18th, 1944 in Brooklyn, he was the son of Everett Meek and Beverly Meek. He was raised and went to Nashua Grade school and High School in Montana. Meek was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served his country for 30 years before retiring in 1992 having attained the rank of Command Master Chief. After retiring, he enjoyed taking trips in his RV, and being a ham radio operator. He also enjoyed hunting deer and small game and listening to country and western music.
He is survived by his wife Mary, and his sisters, Sharon Hodges of Colorado Springs, CO.,and Diedra Sorenson of Sidney, MT.
He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Beverly Meek.
