  1. Alwilda was a caring and sharing person. I appreciated
her spirit, faith, and intelligence. She loved her little church at Good Hope in Chesapeake and came to church regularly until her Alzheimer”s made it impossible.
I met her and Richard in 1997 when I came to Good Hope as the pastor. They both helped our church in a variety of ways and showed great support to me. Alwilda loved Chesapeake and was an involved and energetic presence in her community.
I pray for her sons and family that they may find peace
and hope during these days of grief.
