Anthony J. Bogin, “Jerry” aka “Tony” passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019. He was born on April 25, 1964 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Paul Bogin, Sr., (predeceased) and Artency B. Bogin. He was a graduate of Elizabeth High School. He served in the U.S. Navy, stationed on the U.S.S. Kennedy Aircraft Carrier as an Electrician’s Mate. He worked in the construction field where he performed electrical engineering. His last position was with International Flooring & Protective Coating, Inc., in Norfolk, Virginia. He truly loved his work, as displayed in many pictures posted on Facebook. He lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He loved going to Comedy Clubs, parks, fishing, watching football, long drives to visit family in New Jersey. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Bogin, his Mother, Artency Bogin-Cromartie, three children, Charles Waiters, Anthony Bogin, Jr., Cheri Bogin, three step-children, Yamada, Yashanda and Yawanda Tribbett, two brothers, Paul Bogin, Jr., Silas Bogin, two sisters, Gail China and Linda Joyner, Brother-in-law, Lee China, many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family friends and others whose lives he touched. Anthony was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Bogin and his brother, George L. Bogin. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A Memorial A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday January 18th, 2020 at Mt. Calvary UCOD New Life Family Center. 233-25 First St. Elizabeth, NJ 07206.

I can remember at school 20 when we had our summer concert, Anthony was a solider singing a solo ,I thought that was the coolest thing done by one of the coolest guys and I never forgot that. Gone to soon.
Cuz I can’t express how much I will miss having you in my life!!! I pray that you are better now and pain free. Insha Allah if you are now at peace we can be at peace as well knowing you are no longer suffering. I will always love you my brother,cousin,friend!!! In my heart forever!!!
