Anthony L. Little, 45, passed away peacefully April 15, 2014 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Little was a native of Long Beach, California. He graduated from Great Bridge High School in 1988. He studied culinary arts at Tidewater Community College. In 1998 he entered the U.S. Navy and served as a Culinary Specialist until 2009. He spent most of that time serving the crew of several submarines and made 12 patrols. Until his death he worked as an outdoor marine machinist for Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Crystal Little; five children: Allison and Tonya Reinhard, Logan Little and Justin and Vandan Davis; father, Tom Little; three siblings: Tom Little, Lynnette Truesdale and Sam Little; four grandchildren: John-John and Zayden Adcock, Wyatt Warren and Amelia Webb. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Blair Little; mother, Ann Little and brother, Richard Little.
Mr. Little was known for his love of food. He was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers. His attributes were that he was: dependable, reliable, responsible. and … stubborn. Mr. Little will be missed by family and friends alike. Although sad over his death, we can all look forward with hope to the realization of 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 – 18; the Second Coming of Christ when we will be rejoined with loved ones such as Anthony.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am, Friday, April 25, 2014 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am at Family Choice Funerals and Cremations. 5401 Indian River Rd in Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, April 28, 2014 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Suffolk.
