April Ann Post, 53, passed away peacefully October 23, 2013 in the Brian Center, Fincastle, VA.

April was born May 10, 1960 to Betty Melton and John Campbell in Ashtabula, Ohio. She was kind-hearted person who never met a stranger. She would often share her home with family and friends. April enjoyed singing, art, cooking and being with those she loved. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Betty Melton and step-father, Donald Melton; three sisters: Lisa Ruppert and her children Peter Ruppert and Jennifer Wilson, Robin Fincher and Michele Peery and husband Jeffrey.

    april I miss u so much ! you were the coolest cousin ever. I look up to you as my big sister, you were always happy and that laugh was crazy. you had a big heart, and helped anyone. you loved to draw, cook,and your family. your with jesus , I love you
