Barbara M. Bishop, 48, of Virginia Beach, passed away Thursday, September 15, in Norfolk. Born on July 24, 1963 in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late James, Sr. and Catherine Blake Matolek.

She is survived by her loving brothers, John and James C. Matolek, Jr.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
