Barbara White Conklin, 90, entered eternal rest on September 10, 2014. A loving mother and friend, Barbara was devoted to her family.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Taylor, Carol Conklin-Collins (Brian), and Barbara Singer (Gene); son, James Conklin (Tammy); daughter-in-law Sharon Conklin; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry E. (Shorty) Conklin, Jr.; her son, Harry E. (Joe) Conklin, III; parents, Mary Marshall White and James Rufus White; sister, Betty Rae White Miller; and brother, James Lloyd White.

Graveside services at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to The Caring Center, Central Baptist Church, 701 West Olney Road, Norfolk, VA 23507 or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be offered at www.familychoicefunerals.com.
