Barbara Ann Lyons Garraghty, 80, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, December 26th, 2014.
Born July 3rd, 1934 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of Bernard Gordon Lyons and the late Juanita McDonald Lyons. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Randall Garraghty.
Survivors include her daughters: Sandi Garraghty Simmons (Cordell), Beverly Miller, Deborah Garraghty and Kimberly Lyons; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was an avid artist, an awesome seamstress and loved by all.
A memorial service will be held on January 10, 2015 at 1 pm at Oakland Baptist Church.

I have known you Sandi since Jr. High with your infectious smile and personality. You must have gotten that from your mom. Gary and I would like to send our deepest sympathy for your loss and we will be lifting your family up in prayer.
Mrs. Garraghty was a delightful lady that I first met at Friendship Manor. Shirley Carroll recognized her and we began our friendship. We visited her many times and always told her we loved her. We will miss her
