Betty Jones Thomas, 84, passed away peacefully October 31, 2013 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Affectionately known as “BeBe and Aunt Betty” was born July 27, 1929 to the late Tillmann and Floy Jones, Jr. in Princess Anne County, VA. Her family and friends will always remember her for her endless love and devotion for them.

Left to cherish her memory her children: Wayne and Doug Thomas and Debbie and H.K. Lee; sisters-in-law, Ruby and Dare Jones; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. “BeBe” is preceded in death her siblings: Guirnell, Kenneth, Tillman, Jr., Anne; grandson, Cameron Hewitt and nephew Terry Nicewander.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-4:00pm, Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Rose Garden Hall, 6700 Azalea Garden Rd, Norfolk, VA 23518. Please share your condolences with the family at www.familychoicefunerals.com

    Dearest Debbie, So sorry for your loss. Bebe was a wonderful neighbor and friend to us, even like a second Mother to us. We will never forget how she took us under her wing when we lived next door. Our thoughts and prayers to you and Wayne and Doug. Much love, Bonnie and Ralph Mizelle
