Betty Jean Vollman left this world on May 18, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and close friends. She was born on December 5, 1959. Betty will be loved and missed by many. Left to cherish her memories are Her Husband, Albert Vollman; Her Mother and Step Father, Betty and James Davis; Her Father and Step Mother, Eddie and Mary Ann Wise; Her Daughter and Future Son in Law, Melinda Wise and Andy Chappell; Her Two Sons, Jay Wise and Michael Wise; Her Sister Rose Beaudin and her boyfriend Danny; Her Brother Earl Wise and his wife Cheryl; Her brother Ricky Kight and his girlfriend Ann; Her brother Billy Kight and his wife Anna; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins as well as many Friends.
Betty was an avid billiards player for many years. She made a lot of friends during her time shooting pool. Another hobby she had was playing bingo. Being able to yell bingo always made her smile. She made several friends during her years playing bingo. Everywhere that Betty went she made friends. This is because she was a very loveable person. One thing is for sure, those who met her never forgot her.
As much as she loved shooting pool and playing bingo, they were not her greatest joy in life. That honor would go to her husband and her children. Betty loved her children with all of her heart. Spending time with them always brightened her day. As for her husband, she met him in July of 1999 and married him just a short time later, in September of 1999. At that time she was 40 years old. During those 40 years she always stated she would never get married. One day Al came along and she forgot that statement. During the 8 weeks that she was in the hospital Al was right by her side every day.

You were always like my second mom. I have so many wonderful memories of the times that we all spent together. We were more than close friends, we were family and always will be. Even though you are in heaven with all the beautiful angels, your memory will carry on through things that we will do and things we will say. No one will ever say, “alrighty then” like you did. I love you mom and will always be thankful for the love that you shown me.
May you rest in peace.
I am so sorry for your loss of Betty. I pray that you may find comfort in your loving memories of her and the stories you share of how she blessed your life. I wish I had the opportunity to meet her. But, I am grateful to have met you all, and have been honored to help you during this difficult time. I am sure Betty would be pleased with how you all have come together to honor and celebrate her life. May you feel God’s comfort and presence now and in the days to come.
We very much enjoyed anytime that we shot pool or just hung out with BJ, Al and Melinda. She was such a sweet lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. May she Rest in Peace. God Bless you all.
I am so sorry for the loss of Betty Jean. She was a wonderful person. I wish I could somehow ease the pain that you all are feeling right now. I know God has his loving arms wrapped around her. She’s probably up there shooting pool with the other angels. I love you all.
