Beverly Jane Falls, 68, of Chesapeake, went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2010. Born September 25, 1942 in Lansdale, PA, she was the daughter of Edwin and Evelyn Forrest. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her husband and family, talking to people, cooking, puzzle books, watching court and crime dramas on television, gardening, shopping at Big Lots, and constantly making people smile.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph T. Falls; two daughters, Kim Myrick and her husband, Larry, and Michele Sawyer and her husband, David Yerden; four sons, Robert Hersh and his wife, Kathy, Glen Hersh, James Hersh, and Thomas Falls and his wife, Brandy; four sisters, Sherylee Bealer, Marilyn Fretz, Marlene Kooker and her husband, Paul, and Carol Fasick and her husband, John; a brother, Edwin D. Forrest; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, 501 Providence Road, Chesapeake, with Pastor Ron Heath officiating.
