Beverly K. Conner, 72, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away July 3, 2022. Beverly was born on June 1, 1950 in Norfolk, Virginia to Edward Sturgis and Sylvia P. Sturgis (Young)

Beverly worked as a bartender for most of her life. Her happiest years working was for the SS Blue Maxx. She loved her Bingo just like her mother Sylvia did for years. She loved playing the slots and Atlantic City trips! She taught her family how to thrift shop. She was always finding different and unique things just like her.

Beverly is survived by her two daughters, Shannon Jones, Sylvia Andrews; a son Mike Richards. She had two granddaughters Alicia Wardrop and Shannon Cassano and three grandson’s Joshua Heim, Kevin Bryan, and Garrett Cassano. She also had five great grandsons little Garrett, Trent, Braydon, Colby, and Landon. The newest addition Paisley she is only great granddaughter. We can’t forget about her partner is crime Ron Hillburn… Lover, friend and/ or roommate… Whatever title they want to give it at any time.

Beverly will always be remembered as a loving mother and friend. She was a strong willed person that lived life on her terms. She taught us to be independent people. She had a heart of gold. Always the backbone of the family. She will be missed every minute of the day!
