Bobby Jarmen Emmett, Jr., 50, passed away on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 in the comfort of his home.
Bobby was born January 29th, 1968 in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina to the late Bobby J. Emmett, Sr. and Karen Giavanni. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for over 35 years. Bobby enjoyed fishing, watching The Redskins and spending time with his family. He will always be remembered as a loving, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory is: son, Brandon Emmett; grandson, Noel Emmett; eight siblings: Amy Walton, Angela Wynn, Mary Floyd, Donald Casey, Rose Smith, Lauri Jean Johnston, Cathy Medlin, Thomas Mcadams; mother, Karen Mcadams; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 pm, Monday March 26th, 2018 at Cedar Lakes Club House. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family or to the funeral home.

Little Bobby I have been a part of your life for a minute. I watched you grow up from a young boy to a good man. You were an awesome Dad. I remember your dad calling you “hot shot ” when you were little. Gone too soon but forever missed. . You will always hold a special place in our heart. Your now with your daddy and mama Glenda.
