
Bobby was born March 16, 1982 in Norfolk, VA to Bobby and Cynthia Lacey. Bobby worked with Onyx Engineering for nine years as a Chief Sound Engineer. His chosen career allowed him to work with famous personalities as well as local personalities and organizations.
Bobby’s greatest joy and accomplishment in life is his beloved daughter Abigail Estelle Lacey. Bobby was a talented musician able to play the guitar and piano by ear. He enjoyed sharing his love and gift of music with his daughter; they can be found on Facebook, Bobby playing the guitar and Abigail singing.
Bobby will be remembered by his family as a loving and devoted father, son, and brother. His friends will remember Bobby as an “awesome” and caring friend. One of his friends noted that Bobby influenced many of their lives. His sense of humor was infectious to all who had the opportunity to know and love him He had a way of turning any situation into something to laugh about.
Left to cherish his memory will be his loving daughter, Abigail Estelle Lacey; parents, Bobby and Cindy; sister Amanda Price, husband John and their son, Logan; maternal grandparents Beverly and William “Bud”
Brown; long time girlfriend and mother of Abigail, Raine Carter; as well as numerous family members and friends.
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Family Choice Funerals & Cremations. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Bobby.

Bobby was that rare person that never asked what is in it for Me . No Bobby was the one you could call when you needed a hand , when a client had surprised you with a must Have. You would call him and he would come through , so when he need something you would willingly get it done for him. He left us refreshed with his unique humor and I consider my life fuller for knowing him and calling him a friend.
