
Bobby L. Little, Sr., 78, passed away on October 15, 2011. Born August 20, 1933 in Durham, NC, he was the son of the late Marvin L. and Mable Aldridge Little. He retired from the Virginian-Pilot as an engraver and photographer and was a member of Bayside Presbyterian Church. Besides photography, he enjoyed sports and playing softball for his church.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Ann Temple Little; a son, Bobby L. Little, Jr. and his wife, Julie Sawyer-Little of Fuquay-Varina, NC; three daughters, Lynda F. Poole and her husband, Rich of Chesapeake, Kelley A. Gumbs and her husband, Alan and Shelley J. Warren and her husband, Scott, all of Virginia Beach; his former wife, Eva K. Little of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Virginia Creech of Richmond, and Betty Jean Koenigsberg, Rose Trueworthy and her husband, Lawrence, and Carolyn Coe and her husband, Richard, all of Virginia Beach; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Nation of Clayton, GA; six grandchildren, Bobby Little, III and his wife, Jennifer, Barry Little and his wife, Danielle, Christopher Little, Katherine Little, Jeremy Poole, and Nathan Poole; two great-grandchildren, Mikayla Grace Little and Connor Dane Little; four step-children, Melinda Morrisette and her husband, David, Lynnette Jimenez and her husband, Bill, Angela Odom and her husband, Charles, and Thomas Tevepaugh and his wife, Brenda; twelve step-grandchildren, Charles Odom and his wife, Leah, Charles Odom, III, Vance Morrisette, Taylor Spencer, Catalin Odom, Jill Spencer, Catherine Odom, Dylan Morrisette, Layla Jimenez, Camila Jimenez, Anthony Karko, and Samantha Karko; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Anne Nation and two brothers-in-law, Leo Koenigsberg and Victor Creech.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 18, at 11 a.m. at Bayside Presbyterian Church, 1400 Ewell Road, Virginia Beach, 23455.
