Brenda Milanowski, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away quietly on May 9th, 2023, in Virginia Beach at the age of 74. She was born on December 2nd, 1948 in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Brenda was a devoted homemaker who took special joy in taking care of her home and family. Although a private and quiet person, she was very witty and fun. She dedicated her life to raising her children and creating a loving environment for them to grow. Brenda’s love extended to her grandchildren, Eavin Stonebraker and Alec and Madison Kirkpatrick, whom she adored dearly.
Brenda was married to her High School sweetheart and loving husband Craig Milanowski, for 55 years. Together they raised their two children, Craig Milanowski Jr and Melanie Frederick. They cherished their time together and enjoyed traveling and spending quality moments with family and friends.
Brenda will be remembered as a kind and caring woman who always put her family first. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Brenda is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren. May she rest in eternal peace.
Below is an excerpt from her favorite poem, Footprints in the Sand
“My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.”
May God wrap his arms around your family and give you peace and strength. I love you all.
I will always remember Brenda as a inviting soul making me feel at home everytime our paths crossed young and old. She definitely raised two fine children and married a very nice man. I will always remember you Brenda.
My condolences to Craig and family. Brenda you will surely be missed and always remembered. I will remember all of our conversations, advice, and laughter. We had some fun times my friend. RIP
Craig and family……. I write with a broken heart for a very special woman who influenced us more than she knew. I want the family to know she was a great mother to more than just her family at events in other people’s lives that will not be forgotten. From your small extended family extension.
