It was great working with Buck in the Navy. We were stationed together on USS Yellowstone AD-41. We played cards together and went out drinking a few times. I only recently found him on Facebook. Wish we could have visited again.
Sherri, I am so sorry for your loss. I think of you and Brian often. I will be unable to attend Wednesday’s service as I will have surgery. But, know that y’all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, Lanette
Sherri, we are both so sorry for your loss, I know no amount of words can fill that void you are feeling, but you don’t have a void, he is right there with you in your heart. Brian was very lucky to have such a strong woman by his side through this difficult journey he was faced with. I know it doesn’t seem fair but god wanted him up there with him, where he he can live peacefully and pain free..I know Brian wants you to live on peacefully as well. If there is one woman that can handle any situation its you sherri! Always have a smile on your face regardless of what’s going on. I look up to you for that and hope I have your same spirit as the years go on. We love you sherri❤
It was an honor and a privilege to have known Brain and that he trusted in my care. I am sorry I could not have done more. His smile and sense of humor will always be remembered. What I will also remember is that he lived life to the fullest no matter what it threw at him. Know that you, Brian Buchanan, will not be forgotten. The world is just a little darker without you here to cause a little mischief !
