Bruce Allan Fischer , 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 in Virginia Beach. Born on March 21st, 1936 in Elmira, New York he was the son of Henry and Marie Fischer and husband of the late Joan Fischer. Bruce retired from the U.S. Navy as a Senior Chief, and from the Norfolk Police Department where he was a K-9 officer. He enjoyed his “Golden Child” Sam, volunteering at the nursing home, watching planes take off and land at the airport, and TV Land.

He is survived by his sister Shirley (Lynn) Warden; daughters Kim (Roger) Miller, Lori (Mac) McPherson, and Karen (Ben) Owsinski; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grand children.

He was preceded in death by his daughters Denise Brady and Debra Baldwin.
