Bruce Alan James, 72, passed away on March 31, 2014 in Virginia Beach. He was born February 2, 1942 in Danville, IL to Ralph and Edith James.

He is survived by his wife Sandy, a son, Bradley James, wife Chris, and granddaughter Sophia, in Los Angeles, California, a step-daughter Lori Davis, husband Jeff, step-son Jason Lukes,wife, Lorry, and grandchildren Dylan Lukes, Tanner Lukes, Hayden Lukes, and Alanah Davis all of Virginia Beach, and a brother John in Sisters, Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Blake, and brother, Dennis.

    Sandy & family,
    We are so sorry to hear of Bruce’s passing…We will miss his smiling face, his waving at us…or if we were fortunate..to stop and chat with him:)
    We were happy to have him at our daughter Jaime’s wedding in 2011.
    He watched Jaime & her friend Ashlee as they grew from little girls waiting to go to school…to adults. He always asked about our grandchildren too!
