Calvin was born on November 26, 1958 in Woodland, North Carolina to late Linwood Bowser, Sr. and late Janice E. Bowser. He attended Newark, New Jersey Public School system where he received his formal education. Calvin entered into eternal rest on February 10, 2016 after contending with a long term Kidney related illness.
In his early years, Calvin was really into physical fitness and enjoyed riding his bikes through Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. Calvin even tried his hand with playing the Bass guitar and keyboard in a band with some friends and family. After mastering many songs, Calvin put the music away, stuck with fishing and drawing.
Calvin was a talented artist who spent much of his time drawing portraits of friends and family. Over the years Calvin managed to teach many family members his craft of drawing. Calvin was also an avid fisherman who loved spending the day on a fresh water lake, river or bay. Calvin’s favorite place to fish was Green Lane Reservoir in Montgomery County in Pennsylvania.
Those who really knew Calvin would agree that Calvin spoke his mind and has put quite a few people in their place. There are a few doctors out there that may have needed counseling after Calvin had finished telling them off.
Calvin was a loving father and leaves to cherish his memories three children: Calvin Earl Bowser, Jr (Erin Williams), Michael Bowser, and Jeanetta Bowser: his Grandchildren, Eiyani, Najee, Mikhaya, Michael, Jayanna, Semaj, and Savannah.
