Charlytte Rainn Wilson, age 2, returned home to Heaven April 26, 2021.
For being only 2 years old, Charlytte showed courage and strength most people can only hope for. In her almost two and a half years on earth, she taught us all to not let definitions or disabilities define us. She broke barriers, fought through obstacles, brought peace to her family, and loved so deeply. She touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on in our hearts and memories. She is now set free. She will always be loved and cherished by those who were lucky enough to have known her.
Left to cherish her memory are: four loving parents: born to Charlie Wilson and Tiffany Carpenter and loved endlessly by Christine Ethridge and Kathryn Chandler; five siblings: Blake Wilson, Chloe Wilson, Charlie Wilson Jr, Cash Wilson, and Gabriel Ethridge; and numerous extended family members, caretakers and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday May 4th, 2021 at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday May 5th, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, we would be honored to have you support The Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters as they supported Charlytte throughout her life.
Please share a memory with the family via the “Condolences and Tributes” tab.

We are going to miss this sweet girl dearly. She only let me hold her a few times but it was the greatest couple of moments when she was comfortable enough to fall asleep on me. Her smile and little giggle could light up any room. I know she’s running freely in heaven now, jumping and playing with the other kids.
Char was such an inspiration. We kept the siblings connected to their little sister while they were with us, which made memories we know they’ll cherish. For the last 2 years, I know there was never a doubt in her mind that she was loved.
We love you all. Char, you are missed deeply sweet angel.
My condolences to your family during this difficult time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Hayden Dannenfelser
