
Clyde B. “C.B.” Pitchford, Jr., 56, of Franklin, VA, passed away on January 26, 2011 at his home. Born July 31, 1954 in Norfolk, he was the son of the late Clyde and Ruth Owen Pitchford. He owned and operated 20/20 Recruiting and enjoyed riding horses, Elvis Presley music, and his faithful companions, “Lucy and Rufus.”
He is survived by two sisters, Owen Pitchford of Norfolk, and Gale Beasley and her husband, Frank of Chesapeake; a nephew, Billy Rafter and his wife, Nan and their two sons, Cutty and Tug Rafter; two nieces, Shay Horst and her sons, Alex and Travis Horst and Cameron Rafter; and another nephew, Tim Jones.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19th at 2 p.m. at Portlock United Methodist Church, 2615 Bainbridge Boulevard, Chesapeake, with Rev. Bob Robinson officiating. Interment will be private.
