
Connor Travis Royal, age 10 months, was called home on Sunday, March 5 2017 at Virginia Beach Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Connor was born on May 5 2016, in Norfolk, Virginia, to parents Zeke and Natalie Royal. A happy and bright-eyed child, Connor was known by his family and friends to always have a smile on his face. He enjoyed spending time outside, playing with his older brother Derrick, and snuggling with his favorite toys. He learned how to crawl, stand up, and say “Mama, Dada.” His family misses him greatly, but is happy that he is with someone who loves him as much as they do. He always was a light of hope and always will be.
Connor is survived by his parents, Zeke and Natalie Royal; his brother, Derrick Royal; his paternal grandparents; Maxine Simms, Mark Royal, Arthur Simms and Diana Royal; his maternal grandparents, David and Ann Pieta; his great grandparents, Ronald and Lois Pieta, and George and Shirley Waldock; His Uncle Dan Pieta, Aunt Suzanne Pieta, Aunt Roxanne Royal, Aunt Stacyann White, Aunt Iman Brown, Uncle Kevin Williams, Uncle Andrew White, Uncle Marvin White, Aunt Toline Blake and loving family.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 12th, 2017 at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations with a funeral to follow at 1: 30 pm. Please wear white if possible.

Dear Natalie and Zeke, my heart is heavy for you both. Connor was a precious little guy, so loved and treasured. I will never forget meeting him and seeing his gorgeous brown eyes and dark curly hair. He was full of life, and brought a lot of joy to everyone who knew him. Sending love and prayers for you.
