Craig P. Siska, 46, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Craig was born March 14th, 1970 to Paul and Mercedes Siska in San Diego, California. He was a longtime employee of Stihl. He loved watching movies, listening to music and being with family and friends. Craig will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory is: parents, Paul and Mercedes Siska; sister, Michele Taylor and husband David; niece, Lily Taylor, all of Virginia Beach; uncle, Lou Siska of Long Beach, California, aunt Sylvia Carter and Crosby March; Greens Harbor, Newfoundland; uncle, Kevin O’Brien and wife Rhonda, of Gander, Newfoundland; uncle, Gerry O’Brien and wife Julie, of Ontario, Canada; aunt, Janice Travis and husband Joe, of Bullock, North Carolina; seven cousins: Jennifer, Adrianne, Tricia, Shane, Trevor, Taylor and Scott; and many good friends especially: Wendy, Sam, Cassandra, Pete & Cheryl.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 pm, Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 8th, 2016. Burial will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park. I worked and was a friend of Craig’s, what a special person he was always ready with a smile oh goodness it’s so hard to think that he’s gone but I know he’s with the angels because he was such a good person to be around. My sincerest condolences to all of Craig’s family and friends in there time of greef. Although Craig and I were childhood friends for only a brief time he left a life long impression on me. We reconnected a couple of years ago threw Facebook, and it was like time hadn’t past. Unfortunately we hadn’t spoken in a while and I am deeply sadned at hearing of his passing. Mr. and Mrs. Siska, Michelle and Family Tammy and I are so sorry about Craig. He has been apart of our lives longer than almost anyone else short of his family. We met and became friends at age 13 and for nearly 30 years he was more than a friend he was like a brother to me in more ways than I can tell you. I cannot remember almost any event or milestone in my life he was not apart of. Although in the recent years we had not spent much time together as life had taken us down different roads.
