Daniel J Bruner, aka Dan-O and Dan the Man, gained his angel wings November 5, 2021. Dan had a zest for life. Never met a stranger. Would do anything for anybody. He enriched the lives of EVERYONE he met. His circle of friends is vast. Being outdoors four wheelin’, boating, hunting or enjoying festivals with family and friends were his best days. Dan had a 34 1/2 year career with Hall. Starting as a technician, then service advisor and promoted to service manager. Dan is the longest serving service manager in the history of Hall Automotive. He will be greatly missed by everyone at Hall and all the customers he served in his long career. Predeceased in death by his parents Paul and Lori Bruner and his brother Michael. He is survived by his bride, Lucy Bruner, her daughter, Sherica Linville, brothers Bret, Bart and Paul, nieces and nephews: Anthony, Jr., Hanna, Braden, Shawn, Scarlet, Sean, Ayden, Madison, Skylar, Michael, Paul, Jessica, Chris, Desiree and Jason along with too many friends to mention and a special son, Austin Einerwold. Visitation and service will be held Wednesday, November 10, 6 – 8 pm at Family Choice Funeral & Cremations, 5401 Indian River Road. A reception to follow at Milton’s Bay Café, 2253 W. SHINING STAR
The angels looked down from heaven one night.
They searched for miles afar,
And deep within the distance
They could see a shining star.
They knew that very instant
That the star was theirs to gain,
So they took you up to heaven,
Forever to remain.
Look down on us from heaven.
Keep us free from hurt and pain.
You’ll always be within our hearts
Until we meet again.
Rest in peace sweet Dan,
You will be so very missed.
my heart is broken, I love you dearly Dan….. thanks for all the years of wonderful friendship, for always taking care of me with my wonderful Acura, and just being an amazne person and friend. God bless… I will miss you dearly Julia
Dan O was definitely the most affable fun loving guy and always down for good time.
This of course was contagious and there were many good times. I’ll always remember Chicks Beach in the 90″s as one of the best times in my life and so glad Dan was a part of it. Dan was right “we’re not here for a long time, we’re here for a good time”.
Thanks for the memories and knowing it was a life well lived.
God speed brother, KB
I live out of town and wasn’t able to attend Dan’s memorial in person, but I just watched the live stream. Thank you for doing that and for allowing us to ‘be there’. I laughed thru my tears hearing all the stories of what a truly great person Dan was in life. He was absolutely the ‘go to’ guy, the true friend to us all. My heart is beyond broken ? The only thing that makes it hurt just a bit less is to know that Dan found love before he died. I’m so grateful that he was happy at the end…and I hope he knows how happy he made all of us. Rest In peace Dan…you will be so so missed here on earth ?
