so very sorry to hear of Daniels’ passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Clark family.
Ole Dan has been my partner at work for the last couple of years. We have done a number of jobs with the Vac Truck and Tanker some easier than others. I am not exaggerating when I say that he has caught me about to make some error or remind me of something I forgot when doing a task on the water front or on the yard. He showed much tolerance and patience with me when I would sometimes talk endlessly about topics that mattered little to him. I was close enough to him to know he wasn’t in the best of health but his illness and death did take my by surprise. I will miss picking him up in the morning to take him to work and taking him back home in the afternoon and at times late in the evening. He didn’t talk a whole lot about his family but he did convey that he was especially proud of how his son Dan (not Jr from what I understand) had gotten himself a new job and was doing the best he could to be a responsible father to his two children. Of his grandchildren I know Nicholus (forgive my spelling) the best. He is the oldest and from what I observed is how Dan brags of how well he does in school. My deepest sympathy to his family. I would like to think that one day when I expire that Dan will be there in heaven to show me around.
Our heartfelt and deepest sympathy to the Clark Family and all who know and love Daniel.Remember the Good Times. From Parkview to the Pearly Gates.Rest In Peace Daniel and May God Bless.
Saddened to learn of Daniel’s passing. My sons (Butch and Michael Gibson)and the Clark children grew up together in Park View. My sincere sympathy to his entire family.
I will always remember Daniel as the sweet boy from my childhood. I only just heard of his passing or I would have attended the service. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
