The earthly confines of Deborah Ann Groce, 55, expired late Sunday evening, March 18th, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in passing by her father, Dan F. Groce, and her adored younger sister, Donna Groce-Emmons.
She is survived by her grandmother Belethia Grizzle, mother, Estella D. Wood, her brother, Dan F. Groce and sister-in-law Angela, her son, Anthony Groce and daughter-in-law Jessica, as well as two grandsons, Aiden and Kyrnyn, and her fiancee Jeffrey “Jazz” Gregory. One niece and nephew, Katelin “Katy” and Kerry Groce, two great nieces, eight aunts and one uncle.
“Debbie” or “E-Z”, as she was affectionately known, was born at Dixie Hospital in Hampton. She worked in the bowling world for many years because she loved the people and cared very much for every one of them individually. She loved the beach, the race track(both cars and horses) and collecting ornamental dolls/masks and coins. Outlandish and wacky at times, she was always the life of a party and lit up a room like fireworks.
Her favorite expression was “It’ll cost you twenty dollars!” No matter what you wanted.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday March 24th, 2018 at Family Choice Burials & Cremations.
Please share a memory with the family via the “Condolences and Tributes” tab.
