Donald J. Begley, 52, passed away on Sunday, July 16th, 2017 in Virginia Beach. Born on October 23rd, 1964 in Middletown, Ohio, he was the son of Vola Sears and Cleda Begley. Donald worked as a manager in the automotive paint department for Black Hawk in Monroe, Ohio.

He is survived by his sister, Wanda Mae Begley Nelson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and his best friend, William “Bill” Roach of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cleda Mae Childers Begley; and his brothers, Lanny Begley Jr. and Norman Eugene Begley.

    Wanda and family, it is with great sorrow that Don has passed. He was a good person with a kind heart, and he will be greatly missed. He will always hold a special place in our memories for his sense of humor and his stories. We both send our condolences and prayers during this most difficult time. Charo & Woody

    Wanda,

    Don was a friend of mine since Mayfield Elementary School. We were usually in classes together. Him, Tommy Blanton, Brian Pergram, and Bill Roach was always goofing around. One memory sticks out always was when Don broke his leg on the playground. I was so worried about him. We kept in touch through Facebook on and off but I was always so glad that Bill & Don kept the friendship they had at such a young age. Those friends you don’t find very often. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

    Don will be missed. I already miss having him stick his head out of his window and talking to me when I’m out in the back yard. I will miss our talks.

    As most of you are aware our wonderful brother in Christian, Don Begley, is awaiting the return of Jesus Christmas.

    Don was Wanda Begley-Nelson’so brother and a faithful Intermediate Class graduate in our South Tidewater Branch

    Reverend Eric Koetteritz will be officiating a Recognition Service to honor his life

    Saturday July 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM at The Spencer Crossing Clubhouse, 3900 Spence Crossing Way, VA Beach, VA 23456.

    Please join us in rejoicing in his life and the Word of God that provides us the comfort of The Hope of Christ’s returnot.

    I’m sorry for the loss of your loved one. It is comforting to know that your loved one is alive in God’s memory, God never loses sight of them. (Luke 20:38)

    Also it is comforting to know of the time when God promises to end death forever. (Rev 21:4)
