Condolences to Irene, Tim, Kelli and their extended family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Don will long be remembered by those he left behind. We wish him a speedy journey on his voyage to the promise land. Hand salute! God bless!
My prayers and thoughts go out to Irene and her family. I know that Don will be missed by them all.
We shared many Key West adventures and many lunch dates both here and there. Sea stories ran rampant when he and his Navy buddies and wives got together. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Nunneley family.
To the Nunneley Family
I love this poem as it says it all about the meaning of love and remembrance, and I hope you know how much Don is loved by all who shared his humor, good nature and love……
I’m Gone now, but I’m still very near.
Death can never separate us.
Each time you feel a gentle breeze,
It’s my hand caressing your face.
Each time the wind blows,
It carries my voice whispering your name.
When the wind blows your hair ever so slightly,
Think of it as me pushing a few stray hairs back in place.
When you feel a few raindrops fall on your face,
It’s me placing soft kisses.
At night look up in the sky and see the stars shining so brightly.
I’m one of those stars and I’m winking at you and smiling with delight.
For never forget you’re the apple of my eye.
