Semper Fi first sgt.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Don was an honorable and caring man. When my father died, he told me that he could not replace my dad and would never try, but if I ever needed anything, I could call on him. I know Don didn’t just say that. He meant it. I’m glad I didn’t have to. but I’ll never forget his kind words of encouragement. That’s just how he was. My heart goes out to all who knew him…
We loved Don and will miss him as he meant so much to our family. We are thankful for all the memories that we have together and we will never forget him.
My dad was a very special man. Underneath the hard Marine exterior was a very kind and gentle man. His family meant everything to him and he would do anything for anyone. He will be missed so much. Semper Fi dad, I love you.
We loved Don and will miss him very much. He was so great to me and my family. We are proud and honored to share the same last name.
Loved Uncle Don very much and will miss him. I am very proud to have known, shared, and learned from such a great man.
Uncle Don always had the most beatuiful smile and caring spirit. There was never a time that I can remember that he did not hug me when I saw him and you just could feel is love for you. We are thinking of you all today, and sorry we cannot be there but know that we love you. We will cherish and continue our memories of him forever.
I served with MGySgt. Trosper at Landing Force Training Command in the Communication Department from 1971 until his retirement in 1972. He loved working on those VW Beetles!
A fine Marine!
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the coming days. We know you will miss him.

Dad,
I love you and miss you, already.
God bless you Uncle Don! We are so blessed to have known you and your beautiful, big smile. I have such fond childhood memories of you and the tractor! Our heart goes out to Aunt Maxine and your family. XOXO
It has been one week today that you went to be with the Lord, Daddy. What a glorious reunion you are having now! Dancing, singing, and praising God for all eternity without pain, worries, illness, or sadness; pure unending joy and peace. I miss you so much, but you will be happy to know that I am drawing strength and joy from the fact that you are in heaven with our Lord.
With unimaginable love,
Your daughter, Neecie
It hurts so much living here without you, Daddy. I never imagined it could be so difficult. I love and miss you so much. I know you are looking down from heaven and still have us all tucked in your wings. Rene’ is keeping her promise to you and taking care of Momma while Angie and I are at work. Sundays just are not the same without you. Thinking about you on Easter Sunday in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.
Your loving #2 daughter, Neecie
