You were my role model, father figure, best friend, and grandpa formany years and its saddening that your gone. Although you are gone from this world you begin your new life in the next world.   24. Rest in peace Chief. Don and I served together in the Navy on-board the USS America in the early 1980’s. I never ever heard him raise his voice in anger, always had a smile and was a pleasure to be around. I didn’t know his family but I do know that they were what really mattered to him. Fair winds and following seas,shipmate.
