
Dorothy E. White, 82, passed away on Sunday, May 21st, 2017 in the comfort of her home.
Mrs. White was born September 17th, 1934 in Phelps, New York. She loved dancing, reading, and pulling the occasional prank on people. Dorothy married John White, Jr. on November 2, 1954 and went on to have six sons, which at times, she had to raise on her own because Mr. White was serving our country in the U.S. Air Force. Her kindness, strength and love is demonstrated by those she left behind. Mrs. White will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 63 years, John F. White, Jr; five sons: Gregory White and wife Laura, Robert White and wife Darla, Thomas White, John F. White, III and wife Carrie, Daniel White and wife Monica; four brothers: Donald Wheeler and wife Carol, Teddy Wheeler, Roger Wheeler and wife Joyce, Gary Wheeler and wife Genny; sister, Freda Mumford and husband David; 21 grandchildren: Carrie, Gregory, Jr, Scott, Tammy, Rebbecca, Matthew, Nathaniel, Nicole, Amy, Jessica, Danielle, Jeremy, Josh, Jeffrey, Autumn, Audrey, Einn, Xander, Zavier, Cordelia and Daniel, Jr. and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both parents; and son, Jeffrey White.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 am, Thursday May 25th, 2017 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Suffolk

I’m so sorry for the loss of your loved one. It is comforting to know that she is alive in God’s memory, God never loses sight of them, (Luke 20:38)
It is also comforting to know of God’s promise to get rid of death forever. (Rev. 21:3,4)
Mrs Dorothy you will be greatly miss, your funny ways, your smile your kindness to all, we all will miss you so much . Rest in Peace sweet lady.
