    Val, Duane, Jay and Francis,
    I am saddened to hear of Doug’s passing. Doug was a great friend growing up. The long days we spent playing baseball, basketball, football in your front yard and swimming at Hurling’s are some of my fondest memories. Doug’s bluster and easy going laugh made him fun to be around for those endless knock around hours as a teenager. I deeply regret not staying in touch …. always thought there would be time to catch up later… wrong again.
    Be assured you will be in the the thoughts and prayers of myself and my family …
