To the Couch family,
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. My family and church are praying for you. Eden clearly had loving parents and is in glory with Christ. I look forward to meeting her in the new creation. Please accept our prayers and sympathies.
The Ching family
I never met Eden. But we live in such a funny, modern world, that I felt like I had. I love all the pictures of the Couch’s big family – the kids of all shapes and sizes. It seems like such a joyful, loving family, though I know they have hard times too, just like any family. But pictures of Eden always stuck out, even when she was just a tiny baby.
First of all, she was just cute as a button. But, you know, a lot of babies are. What really struck me about Eden was just how joyful and loved she was. It seems like once she learned to smile, she never stopped. In every picture, your eyes are drawn to Eden and her big smile. Certainly, that comes from within. However, it’s also a testament to how loving, gracious, and big-hearted the Couch family is.
A couple of weeks ago, I was showing my expecting sister pictures of my friends’ cute babies. And, as Facebook-creepy as this sounds, we went through every single picture of Eden. From her teeny tiny newborn ones to more recent toddler pics with her huge smile. Every single one made us grin. You gave her such a good life – adoring siblings, a wonderful home, and parents who deeply, unconditionally loved and cared for her.
She is truly a special child, and will always be remembered. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
May the beautiful memories of your loved one provide solace and strength to you and your family during this difficult time. May you also find much comfort in God’s promise of life without end on a Paradise earth. Matt 5:5 & Psalms 37:11, 29
