
Edwin M. Ross, 78, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born December 5, 1934 in Danville, KY, he was the son of the late Bruce and Betsy Ross. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from the I.B.E.W. Local #80 Electricians Union. A member of the Norfolk Masonic Lodge, he enjoyed golf, motorcycles and sports cars, playing pool, and hunting for treasure with his metal detector.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ross; two daughters, Karie and Kathie; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter; a brother, Ronald Ross; four step-children; six step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren; and two special nephews, Ron and Michael McCormick of Savannah, GA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ross.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 14th at 2 p.m. at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations, 5401 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach. The family asks that everyone dress casually.

Ed and I worked togather several times over the years, and even on the road while in New Jersey. He and I were also in Norview Masonic Lodge togather.. His dad, Bruce,w taught me and guided me through my masonic rituals. Rest in Peace, Brother.
I did not know you, Edwin, but I have seen your Light shine in the eyes of your beautiful daughter and granddaughters. Well done.
