Ellie Murallon Hayhurst,73, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 3, 2015.

Mrs. Hayhurst was born June 14, 1942 to Alejandro and Evangelista Murallon in Mindanao, Philippines. She came to the US in 1997 to be with her family. She later met her husband George in 2003 while attending a ballroom dance at the Filipino-American Association. Ellie loved ball room dancing, collecting jewelry, swimming and bowling and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, George Hayhurst; seven children: Rizalina Montano, Noel and Nancy Baniqued, Susan and Raul Falgario, John and Maria Thomas, Jason and Eva Buchanan, Ely and Susan Baniqued and Diana Rose Baniqued; and 9 nine grandchildren: Romelyn and Bong Montano, John and Ameila, Brian Thomas, EJ, Jannah, Allen and Sandy Baniqued. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

    To my dear Cousins and their Families,

    Our heartfelt condolences to you all…our thoughts are with you in your most trying moments. May you all find comfort in our Christian Faith knowing your Mom is now safely Home in the loving arms of our Almighty Father.

    So long, Auntie Ellie….sleep tight and rest well in God’s love.
    And thank you for everything.. I will always look back with gratitude all the goodness you’ve afforded us. Rest assured you will always be in our prayers.

    To my best friend and family..A great soul has departed,but the memories shall never fade. Your loss is huge and I can only share your pain. May the soul of your mother, rest in peace. Keep faith and courage, I am sorry for your losss… I love you Bang!(evangeline Buchanan)
