Gwen, I think you know how much we loved Erma and we will miss her smiling face and gentle spirit. We know that you and your family will have fond memories of your lifetime with your Mom. You and your family are in our prayers that God will comfort you during this time. I remember after caring for my Mother for so long and attending to her needs daily that when she passed away I wondered what I would do with the spare time that I had now acquired. God has a plan and He prepared for me things to do to fill that empty time… God has an amazing way of taking care of what we need and He is always on time. Erma loved the Lord and we will all see one another again very soon. God bless and please let us know if you need anything. Garry and Suzanne
Dear Gwen & family,
We are so very sorry for the loss of your Mother but we can rejoice that we will see her again in heaven. Erma was loved by many and will be missed. Erma was blessed to have been loved so deeply by her dedicated family. Besides a loving family, God sent Erma an angel, Nancy Long, to be her roommate and watch over her when family and friends weren’t there. Erma always had a sweet smile and was always quick with saying “thank you” for everything. Erma taught me how to play her favorite game, “Skip-Bo”, and I will fondly remember all the games we played, and how Erma, Nancy Long & I would help each other to win. Thank you Lord for Erma, thank you for our Mothers. Mothers are a gift from God, and leave a void in our hearts when they are gone. She loved the roses from my garden, they must have reminded her of all the roses she grew when she lived in Loma Linda, California. Every time the roses in my garden bloom from now on, I will smile and think of Erma. May you feel God’s hand holding you up and comforting you during this difficult time. You are in our prayers.
