My Brother Gary…..
What kind of a brother were you? Let’s take a look…
-You were the kind of brother who taught me how to string a bow and taught me how to shoot in our back yard.
-You were the kind of brother who bought me my first set of miniature golf clubs. Real golf clubs custom made for me! You again took me to the back yard and taught me how to play.
-You were the kind of brother who took me out in the early mornings before school on your trapping rounds. You taught me how to properly bait and trap.
-You were the kind of brother who enrolled me into hunters safety and took me target practicing.
-You were the kind of brother who taught me everything I know about deer hunting. You would carefully show me every sign indicating deer, how many and what kind.
-You were the kind of brother who would pick me up after school to go duck hunting. I remember you telling me to be very still and quiet.
-You were the kind of brother who would call and let me know you were in the area and wanted to take me golfing or out for a movie.
Gary, I have many many good memories of you…I miss you and I love you!
Gary was one of the most thougtfull and selfless people I have ever met. His FAMILY always came first.
I still remember the first time I met him. I was so nervous because I was the man dating his baby girl. He immediatley greeted me with a smile and said, “So your the cop!” ..we both laughed. Jodi, Gary, and I talked for several hours after that and he made me feel like Family.
I am honored and proud to have met him and been a part of his life.
I miss you Gary (Dad). I promise to look over your Family in the years to come.
Love, Will
