George F. Von Szymerowski, 87, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011. A native of Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Clemens and Frances Heineman VonSzymerowski.

He is survived by his nephew Jack Proctor and wife Joan; Neices Shirley Wright and husband Thad and Fran Bartalone and husband Paul.

Mr. VonSzymerowski served as a Personal Executive Secretary for Knight-Ridder News for 47 years. He was a self-motivated man who aspired to many talents. At a young age he became a self taught and accomplished pianist. He enjoyed a love of nature, flowers, music and most notably a caregiver for many people.
