Henry “Hank” Bekier, 76, went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Ann of 51 years; daughter, Mary Jane Eike; son, Michael Bekier and his wife Sandra, his only granddaughter Katelyn Eike all of Virginia Beach; brother, Edward Bekier of New Jersey; sister, Lucy Bekier Harmel of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
Hank was a hard-working man who loved his family. He and his dry sense of humor will be sorely missed.
Our family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bremer and her staff at VA Oncology and to our friends at Intrepid Hospice for their compassionate care.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Please share a memory with the family via the “Condolences and Tributes” tab.
