Ivah Restivo, 56, of Virginia Beach, passed away suddenly in her home on November 18, 2016.

Ivah, known to many as “Aunt” Ivah, was a devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. She was married to Carl Restivo for almost 36 years. Together they raised one daughter. Ivah proudly served in the Air Force and held several jobs throughout her life. Her favorite job of all had to have been babysitting. She loved children more than anything and all she cared for quickly became “family” to her. Most recently she was able to enjoy watching her first, long awaited, granddaughter. Her second granddaughter is due next month. Ivah was a kind, caring woman who was an amazing friend that would do anything to help someone in need. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; her daughter, Jayme; son-in-law, Alex; granddaughter, Emilia; future granddaughter, Alyssa; and her two sisters, Marissa and Rachelle.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd at 6:00PM at Family Choice Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.
