
VIRGINIA BEACH- James Matthew Hill, 60, passed away August 3, 2012 in Virginia Beach. He was born in Newport, Rhode Island and was the son of the late Matilda Hill Snipe and Mathew Hill. James graduated from Rogers High School and Salve Regina College. James served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.James retired from BASF in 2008. He enjoyed reading, cooking and photography.
He is survived by his loving wife Beverly Hill; mother, Alfreida Hill; siblings, Henry Middleton, Cassey Mae McIntyre , Mary Jane Lacy, Alfred Hill, Sr., Carlton Hill, Sr.; neices and nephews Andaria Hill, Alfred Hill, Jr., Carton Hill II, Crystal Hill, Arron Hill, Matthew Hill, Anthony Hill, Ariel Hill, Akayla Hill, Alexander Hill, Willis James Lacey IV and Willis James Lacy V.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12pm at Family Choice Funerals and Cremations. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6- 8pm.
