James Milton Lowe, 66, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Born August 31, 1947 in Norfolk, he was the son of the late William C. and Helen Kirby Lowe. After graduating from Maury High School he served his country in the U.S. Army and was a carpenter with W.M. Jordon Company before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Dale Miller; four sons, Gary Lowe and his wife, Amy, James Lowe, Jr., Raymond Lowe, and Adam Lowe; a daughter, Margaret Lowe; a step-daughter, Sherry Heslop; a son-in-law, David McDaniel; three brothers, Robert Lowe, Richard Lowe and Donnie Lowe; a sister, Sandra Mawyer and her husband, Chip; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Lowe and Steve Lowe.
