I am sorry to hear about Aunt Janie. Praying for your family.
I have wonderful memories of visiting Aunt Janie and Uncle Chet and Aunt Janie fixing a giant bowl of crab, served with saltines and Pepsi!
My thoughts and prayers goes out to Mrs. Janie Holt’s family.
She and I were pen pals for a long time. I would always send her letters of encourgement. I was always thrilled to receive mail from Mrs. Holt, and I am glad I got the opportunity to meet my pen pal.
She was a joy to meet, and I am glad our life paths crossed.
Blessings and love to you always.

Our deepest heartfelt sympathy to our dear Aunt Janie’s family. Aunt Janie lived a long wonderful life and we love her dearly. We all will hold on to her love and memories forever. Our thoughts, prayers and love to each of you from her nieces Marge and Mary, Her great-niece Donna and her great-great niece Lori.
I was sad on seeing that Janie had passed. However, she told me many times that she was ready to go so I know she has gone on to be with her Lord.
One of my fondest memories of Janie is when I was around 12 years old. She, Chet, Ronald & June were neighbors when we lived in Ocean View. I spent many afternoons sitting on her front porch talking with her. She always sat in her rocking chair and rocked back and forth as we talked.
I also have fond memories of visiting with her in her later years. She still enjoyed sharing about growing up in Roanoke, meeting and marrying Chester, her children & grandchildren. She loved candy and McDonald’s hot apple pies.
Rest in Peace Janie.
So many wonderful memories. You will be sadly missed.
