Jeane Lou “Jaajee” McKeown, 65, of Virginia Beach, passed away November 8, 2022. Jeane was born on September 9, 1957, in Naga, Camarines Sur, Philippines to Santiago Beltrano and Helen Osdon-Beltrano.
She met Joseph Sr. at the local discotheque “Lambrau 29” in Philadelphia. Dancing was her favorite pastime and it was a hard time keeping her off the dance floor.
She loved nature and her home of Virginia Beach. It was always her favorite journey to drive under the tree-shaded roadways of Elbow Road or Shore Drive. She loved spending time with family, cooking, taking care of others, catching up with loved ones on social media like Facebook, and watching The Filipino Channel(TFC).
Jeane will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, and friend. She made bonds with her friends and family that will last into eternity. She will be remembered as a fighter until her final day. She dedicated her life to her husband and son, Joseph Sr. and Joseph Jr. She was the foundation of the home and always there when needed. The home was her sanctuary and she maintained it as well as anyone.
Jeane is survived by her husband Joseph Sr. and son Joseph Jr. She is also survived by her siblings: Maria Greaney(Fanny), Maria San Luis(Baby), and Mario Beltrano. She was predeceased by her mother Helen Beltrano, her father Santiago Beltrano, and her sister Maria “Merlet” Dayag.
Funeral Memorial Mass and inurnment will be held at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church

Pain in the body is inferior to pain in the soul. The pain of being injured cannot be compared to the pain of losing a loved one, I’m missing you, Manay Jeane. You’re always in my mind, forever in my heart can’t forget that you treated me always as your little sister. Thanks for everything.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Praying for you and your family!
Hug
Kathy
Auntie Jeane was a beautiful person inside and out. She had an awesome sense of humor and her laugh could brighten a room like a lighthouse in the darkest of night. Then there’s her smile…she can disarm you, calm you, and make your worries temporarily disappear just by her smile. There aren’t any words that can describe my sadness, but I’m consoled to know that she’s no longer suffering. Thoughts and prayers to Joe Handsome and Uncle Joe.
Jeane , you have a wonderful legacy! You are a wonderful Mother & Wife ! Enjoy your place in heaven!
Will always be loved and will never be forgotten. Love you Auntie Jean.
I will miss you always, my BFF. You’ll stay in my heart and will cherish our friendship forever. I take comfort in the thought that you’re now in the loving arms of God; reunited with your parents and sister.

To Jeane’s family, I am so sorry to hear about her passing. I hadn’t seen or spoke to Jeane in years as we only knew each other from my daughter and her son back in their high-school days.
