
Jeffrey Lynn Cubilla, 49, passed away on June 10, 2011. Born in Norfolk on December 26, 1961, he was the son of Norma “Jackie” Cubilla and the late John “Jack” Cubilla. He remodeled homes and enjoyed fishing.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Ashley Leland; a son, Cody Cubilla; three step-children, Chachi, Justin, and Amber Valadez; childhood friend and partner, Cathy Biggs; former spouse Nichole Norman; three brothers, Johnny, Jimmy, and Paulino Cubilla; a sister, Julia Cubilla; a sister-in-law, Leigh Anne Ryder; five nephews; and two nieces.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations, 5401 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, followed by a Celebration of his Life at 4:30 p.m. at the VFW Post #4809, 5728

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
So sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. He was bigger than life when I was a little girl growing up in Norview/Coleman Place. Rest in Peace Jeff.
