Jennifer M. Bartell, 39, passed away on March 14th, 2018. Born in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of John B. Long, Sr. and Patricia A. Adams. Jennifer was a loving wife and mother. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her and she wouldn’t have changed a moment. Family was the most important aspect of Jennifer’s life. She devoted her time to taking care of her family and helping out as many of her friends as she could. Jennifer had a big heart, softened with the trials and demands of her life. She showed love to everyone.
Left to cherish Jennifer’s memory is her loving husband, Anthony “Mann” Bartell; six children, Alissa, Mariah, Kayla, Christian, Alex, and Jordan; three grandchildren; mother, Patricia (Ernie) Adams; mother-in-law, Shirley Bartell; brothers, John (Barbara) Long and Kevin Long; sisters, Jaime (Justin) Hinkle and Amy Long; sister-in-law, Annie Shaw; as well as several nieces and nephews and many other loved ones. She is predeceased by her father, John B. Long, Sr.
The family will receive friends at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations on Sunday, March 18th, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20th, 2018, at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
