
Jennifer Yvonne “Ger-Ger” Stollberg, 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2015 in Chesapeake, VA. Her family surrounded and consoled her after her passing. Born on November 1, 1951 in the Panama Canal Zone, Panama, she was the daughter of Doris Dale Campbell and the late Harlem Franklin. Ger-Ger worked as a Sales Associate for JC Penny and Burlington Coat Factory where she was recognized for her superior performance in customer service. When not working, she enjoyed fishing, bowling, music of all types, and was an excellent dancer. She also loved visiting with her family and especially loved her grandchildren. Ger-Ger was an animal lover with a soft spot in her heart for dogs of all breeds, and as a child would often show up at home with a stray dog that had “followed her home.” She was a special person who never met a stranger and was always willing to help others in need. Ger-Ger will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving life partner of 27 years, Birnie Pleasant of Chesapeake, VA; a daughter, Heidi Stollberg and her husband, Douglas Winstead of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons, Nick Stollberg of Charleston, SC, Jason Stollberg of Morehead City, NC; her mother, Doris Dale Campbell and her husband, Kieth of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Donald Wayne Head of Virginia Beach, VA; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Stollberg, Rachel Stollberg, Mariah Winstead of Virginia Beach, VA, Ian Stollberg, Nikoles Stollberg and their mother, Ina Sciscoe of Charleston, SC, Isaiah Francis, “Little Jason” Stollberg, Angela Stollberg, and Dominic Stollberg of Morehead City, NC; and many, many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, March 23, 2015, 11:00 am, at Holly Lawn Cemetery 1525 N. Main Street Suffolk, Virginia 23434.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Ger-Ger’s name to the SPCA of Hampton Roads.

We would like to send our condolences to Coach Pleasant and Jennifer’s family..I never got the chance to meet Jennifer face to face..but we spoke on the phone a few times..She was very thankful for any homemade rolls or pound cake..We laughed about how fast they would eat up the goods..Jennifer was truly a nice & friendly lady. Coach always let us know how she was doing..Those were the times to pray for her…Coach really did stand by Jennifer every since we have known him..May God continue to warm your hearts with special memories of Jennifer…Jennifer,one day we will meet and laugh again.. Our hearts are grieving with you over Jennifer’s passing. However, we are rejoicing over her beautiful life and her legacy of love. Jen Jen, was loved by her South Carolina family.
