I’m so sorry for your loss. Joan was an inspiration to me and my family. She was a fantastic singer, had the strongest faith of anyone I’ve ever met and was a tiger playing spades. She will be missed.
Dear Miriam & Josh: Perhaps you remember us from Faith Church in New Bern, NC when you were much younger. We are still there and in our 30th year with them! Anyway, we want you to know how very saddened to learn of your mom’s passing – but so happy to know she is with the Lord she has loved for soooo many years! It is bittersweet at this moment. We will never forget how she fought for our granddaughter to NOT be aborted or given away 28 years ago. Alison is alive and well and serving the Lord in Havelock at her church. She will be married in Sept. for the first time to Eric, whom she has known for 6 years and who is a Christian as well. Your mom loved us through that difficult time and we love her for it. We will miss her “e-devotions” and thank goodness saved most of them to re-read. She loved you and your dad with a great, Godly love, and never let us forget that it was our goal to do the same with our family as well. She was so proud of you both! We pray for God to continue to comfort and enable you to tell others of His love for all of us because of her love for YOU. Thank you Lord for our precious memories and friendship. We love you! Fred & Linda Faith UMC, NC.
Our sympathy for your family. So sorry for your loss. She was a leader in high school and she will be missed. We tried to get in touch with her but were unable to.
Ms. Tyson was a very energetic and kind teacher that will forever last in my memories. Her wonderful songs and enthusiasm helped me through my middle school experience. She expected the best out of every student, and she genuinely cared about every single student she had. Thank you, Ms. Tyson, for teaching me the importance of hard work and dedication.
