The Ice Man
We will miss you Buddy. A great guy to work with. When I wanted a job done, I would go to John. It would be done to perfection and on time. You are in a better place now, John. Always a pleasant smile and a friendly greeting. A great meteorologist and broadcaster. Please say hello to my Son, Tom.
John,
You were one of the special people in my life at Lyndon State College. Our 2 years together are and always will be a part of some special memories for me including our debut performance as Expensive Ice at the talent show. The old school NBA shorts your wore gave everyone in the front row an added show. God I still laugh when I think about that. I’m glad we had the chance to spend sometime together at Homecoming in 2012. Papp Test, Expensive Ice, Dinners at Stevens dining hall and many late nights will live with me for my lifetime. As brother Ice said, here’s to you my friend. Keep the stage warm for us. Till we meet again….
John –
You were a great meteorologist, and I learned a lot from you. You were a great person to work with, and you are missed!! God bless, and may you rest in peace!
A great co-worker, a great meteorologist, and a great person. John, you will practice meteorology up in Heaven! God Bless you both!
